The Villains’ Supper Club

Lila Rose Kaplan’s sharp, satirical comedy of motherhood and heroism draws on the tropes of superhero stories while also subverting them. The rapid movement and exaggerated style of the script call for an equally energetic approach to the environment on stage. Using a couple of moving units inside of a graphic framework, we crafted a world that could change fluidly using projections, furniture, and innovative staging.
