In Moth, horrible bullying and increasing isolation drive two outcast teenagers into a world of apocalyptic visions and haunting memories. The set created a polarized world in which a suspended explosion is caught in tension between the hand-drawn Moth at the window and the light toward which everything is pulled. This frozen state merges elements of the characters lives and relationship in a way that is as confused and conflicted as the events they are wrestling with and echoes the chaotic syntax of the piece.
